Owned the property for 30 years.... Mosquitoes were always around... I am setting, in my woods... and not,, a single Mosquitoe to be found? This aint right....

Creeks are moving water - they need stagnant water I think for their eggs. Mosquito populations are down due to drier summer conditions in most places.

We always had worms in the leaves on the roof. (No idea how they would get there)
Now, no worms. Not on the roof in the leaves. Not in the ground. Not coming up when it rained.

I usually catch about 12 to 18 ground squirrels a year in my garden area, and this year I only caught 2.

The mosquitos are also gone around here, but they usual thin way out in August when it gets dry.

In Northern Indiana in a woodsy area on a lagoon and every year, the mosquito population has been tapering off. Hardly see any under the porch light anymore. No bats either anymore. The Indiana Brown Bat is almost extinct I hear now. No more frogs even.
