Odd delivery from GOV to a Western NC school.

Just to clarify this is NOT my information as I read it on another CS website and didn't see it here. Just spreading the word incase you have children in this area. Not sure exactly what it means but according to the person that wrote this its bizarre. This happened in Buncombe County....


"A relative of mine works for the local Board of Education. He said that a couple of weeks ago, without any warning, they received a huge shipment from the federal government of the following items.. (weird in itself.).

Enough high capacity air purifiers to cover every floor in every school in the district, (90+ of these huge purifiers).
truckloads of big black trash bags and gloves, along with truckloads of (kitty litter maybe), that is normally used to clean up spills of vomit, and other nasty things at schools.
multiple truckloads of rolls of paper towels.

The weird thing, is that these items weren't requested by anyone involved in the school system. These trucks just showed up unexpectedly with these items, with some official looking instructions to store these items, and they'd be told when to deploy it all to the schools.

There were enough of these "supplies", to leave the maintenance folks to store these delivered items in every store room, closet, etc available.

I'm not sure what's going on with our county schools, but I was just curious as to whether anyone else had gotten wind of similar happening in their areas."
