They do. Siberia has plenty of local forest fires around this time of the year.
They don't have the big ones we have in the west nowadays because they don't suppress their fires and don't have a lot of dead lumber laying around.

Forest fires are natural. They're a way for nature to clean itself. The more you suppress them, the more the dead burnable material accumulates, the bigger is the chance of getting a real disaster, like the west is facing nowadays.
