Not accurate. StarLink was never activated throughout Crimea. UkroNazis asked him to turn it on, Elon suspected it would be used for an attack that could spark WW3 and he told UkroNazis no.

It is kind of interesting, since he is a DARPA/DOD frontman and starlink was developed in conjunction with the DOD. Some of the shared data, he didn't have access to. Despite what he says, starlink is most definitely a military system masquerading as a civilian one. The DOD didn't want them to launch an operation on Crimea.
