Yeah, I know it's nothing new.. I just thought that it was interesting that it did at least admit that the only three steel-frame high-rise buildings to completely collapse all were on 9/11.

Its just an internet scraper. Its google but instead of giving you a list of websites it compiles the 3-4 most relevant articles and gives you snippets from them. Its not AI. The creators gave it a list of websites that it should not gather info from and that would be anything resembling conspiracy topics. Unless you ask it specifically to give you information from a site like GLP.

It's like asking a CIA employee what he (or she) thinks of CIA peddling narcotics to kids all over the world, and then snatching those kids, and selling them to the highest pedo/satanic bidder... and he (or she) had nothing but words of praise for his (or her) employer, the CIA.

You may call that auto-censorship, but it's more of semantic auto-programming, where even if a system (whether it's a human or an AI system) is fully aware of the truth, it will still go with lies, because the system is now (self-)programmed to believe the lies it keeps telling itself.

They trained ChatGPT to lie to itself (which is quite an accomplichment in and of itself), and it now "believes" those lies to be true. That's very much like how those same (AI) engineers who did that to ChatGPT were trained (from cradle) to lie to themselves, and believe the lies they keep telling themselves.
