Haven't heard about this for a while... wonder how construction is going.

They're advertising it to me for some reason

YouTube is filled with videos of over hyped projects that will never be completed as planned.

More money than sense? Poor architectural planning, and only hiring "yes men" who will take money with empty promises of fulfilling your fantasies?

15 minute cities are totally impractical even if you can figure out the waste disposal issues and secure enough water.

WHY would talented doctors, specialists, even skilled teachers move to your 15 minute city? What artistic, entertainment and recreational pursuits are you offering to entice them?

Maybe not, but the idea is being implemented. If it's being advertised, it's getting people to think about it. If it's repeated enough, it will manifest.

We are going to have a massive depopulation in the next year or two, and it will make it much easier to round up the people in the countryside and get them into the cities, i think that is all they really want, 95% of the world will be left for the 2%

For reference London spent anywhere between £37 and £53 million pounds (depending on sources) on a “garden bridge” that not a single physical item was ordered, let alone used in construction.

So absolutely right that this is some sort of investor swindle, boondoggle and pork barrel all rolled into one.
