I mean could you imagine being trapped in a biological robotic body that you cannot control and are only a passive prisoner (your consciousness) until you die?

The husband goes ahead with his brother driving a moving truck cross country and gets there a week before.

The house is set deep in the woods.

His brother leaves a few days later and that night while he's sleeping in the house alone, he's awaken by a stranger staring at him from a few feet away holding a large knife.

The guy lunges & stabs him then proceeds to chase him though the house and out into the woods. He survived by hiding inside of a hollow fallen tree in the cold.

If it was fiction it was written very well, defintely seemed legit.
