It’s definitely one to watch, especially if they claim that aircraft had nuclear ordnance on board (wouldn’t have thought so as it was on a local exercise).
The F35 has been a troubled project, and it does have issues, but FWIW, I don’t believe they lost it, not a chance the US Military couldn’t track it.

That is when refueled in air. It has about 900 miles range if it took off with a full load.

A straight line from Charleston to Havana is just under 700 miles. and goes near Daytona and Orlando.

When you add in the flying that was done before she ejected and left the plane to fly away on its on along with re reduced aerodynamics, from missing the canopy it is very doubtful it flew to Cuba as has been suggested.


It could have easily flown to any number of small islands in the Bahamas lots have small airstrips and helicopter pads that it could land on
