Breaking: Bus Crashes in Upstate New York - a Marching Band on board

Farmingdale HS on Long Island. I graduated there in 1988. I have many friends who have children that attend there now. If I get any information not found on msm I will post as long as it’s verified.

Honestly seatbelts need to be mandatory on all types of buses. It was one thing in the 80’s or something but nowdays there are a million more cars on the road, tons who are not US citizens in California, or super old with all kinds of medical conditions, or on drugs for anxiety or psychosis speeding around being crazy. Not to mention all the greyhound drivers are smoking some type of drug on their break while the kids are doing bandcamp or whatever sporting activity, you come back and for all you know they vaped thc or smoked crack its nuts.

How could a driver fuck up that badly unless he was asleep?

Busses are easy to drive and handle well. They're only a challenge to back up judging distance with the close-set mirrors.

That's horrible, prayers for the kids and adults on board.

I bet the driver was attempting to pull off a full vax twirl in his seat.

It never works.

I have seen school busses go through red lights where I live. Reckless.

Somewhere in that wreck is a good engine, worth recovering.

Getting information from a very reliable source that there was a tire blowout and the driver was killed. There are also 10 people with life threatening injuries. This is from people close to the situation in my home town.

If it was a steer tire, the driver was likely innocent and very unlucky. A rear tire should have made very little difference in handling.

Blown front tire...you have to keep a firm grip with both hands and armstrong it...or it will control you over a cliff
