Crypto, AI and the Edge Network
I'm a small brick and mortar business owner and business is lousy. A few days ago, I received a very interesting survey from the US Census Bureau regarding small business.

It asked some interesting questions, such as, do you expect supply prices to rise?...do you expect the prices you charge your customers to rise?...do you expect deliveries to take longer in the future?...how have the interest rate hikes from the fed affected your business? etc.

I was very surprised to see several questions about artificial intelligence. Is your business using AI?...have you reduced the number of employees due to AI...do you expect to utilize AI in the future?

Love it or hate it, for better or for worse, I think AI is unstoppable at this point. I'm definitely not anti-technology or anything, but I'm not totally convinced artificial intelligence will benefit the world more than it harms it. Having said that, if you are faced with choosing the lesser of two evils (i.e., embrace AI and become wealthy or ignore it, lose your job to it and become obsolete) I'd have to say, I'd rather be in a strong position as opposed to a weak one with this thing is fully unleashed.

For starters, I am 100% a silvertard. So I don't want this to turn into a PM vs. crypto thread. That's not the point. Even though I'm a stacker, I also dabble in crypto...

Now that the crypto market seems totally dead and buried and NFTs have ostensibly become the butt of a bad joke, how many people realize that some of the smartest people in the world of computers admit that AI will not be possible without the power of Edge Computing?

How many people realize that SOME crypto projects (but certainly not all) are focused on things other than wen moon/wen lambo? How many people know that some crypto projects out there are right now building software clients that will allow your computer's spare processing power to be used to train AI/machine learning models, and will pay you in crypto for the AI work your PC contributes?

damned

Check out the XRP Investor thread...the smart people over there figured out crypto intersects artificial intelligence. MIRI, Open AI, and society 5.0 was mentioned 2 years ago.

Yep, see that's just it...

I think through all the static of shit meme coins and million dollar apes.jpg "stored on the blockchain" and downright gambling, I think a lot of people are going to be surprised to learn that some cypto project actually have software that solves real-world problems and incentives people to use their computer's spare processing power/bandwidth to participate in this "problem solving" system by rewarding people with crypto (i.e., "tokenization")

A few of these blockchains are integrated with the cloud, others are hosted on Google or AWS.
They can't build data centers fast enough.

When they decide it's go time the world will change in a flash....value will be tokenized whether data aggregates or traditional assets ( which will....must follow course).
