Last time I posted about this I was banned, so that was odd.

If anyone knows what this is, please explain. Or if you’ve experienced this.

Only during thunderstorms, some of the lightning is so BRIGHT it’s like someone put a strobe directly in front of my eyes. One of them I could literally see the back of my eyelids. Another one I could see what looked like some sort of small, purplish goo looking substance right prior to the flash.

I’ve read up on this and read about temporal lobe seizure, though I don’t think it’s that because it’s not random - it’s always during a storm.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve NEVER had lightning be so blinding that it wakes me from sleep and looks like some type of camera flash.

I really can’t explain it any other way.

Go watch the videos of lightening strike sprites striking upward and hitting the dome

Yes...videos of this effect are out there and most have been slowed down to understand the visuals

Sheet lightning lights the sky sometimes .

But no bolt or noise . Quite often I've thought

it was because of fatigue, but sure enough a storm

is not far behind .

One storm near us (SE Texas, NE of Houston), a couple years back was so intense that while watching it it seemed like it created what i can only describe as an effect much like overloading a digital camera.

It was really freaky, and it almost gave me that, welp, the matrix just glitched, feeling.

Or like a we really are organic machines and that was just the optic nerve’s response to being overwhelmed.

Never had it happen before, or since.
