U.S. testing its (satellite-based) IFF (friend-or-foe) electronic-warfare (EW) countermeasures against Russian targets?

I don't know what level of integration the Russian air defense system has, but it's reasonable to assume that they've been copying American approach, which would mean that parts of the system would be sharing those IFF messages, and designating (more-or-less independently) some objects in the air as friendlies, and some as hostiles.

If (more like when, no ifs about it anymore) U.S. "hacks" (all communication is wireless, so 'hacking' in this case means being able to send forged messages that are accepted as valid by the opponent) into that network, some part of the network (like missile launching sites) will accept those forged messages (of a Russian plane being designated as a hostile), and perform their assigned functions (like shooting that mis/dis-identified "hostile" down).

U.S. had already successfully tested their EW capabilities last year, when a U.S. helicopter entered Russian airspace (from Ukraine, completely unchallenged by Russian air defenses), and conducted a ground attack on a Russian (presumably military) installation... on the territory of Russia.

Obviously, the same flaw (most likely in the "encryption" protocol) in the Russian (integrated) air defense system still exists today, and the fact that U.S. isn't even trying to hide its ability to spoof (valid) messages (meant to confuse Russian defenses) can mean only one thing -- Russians won't have enough time to fix their problem before U.S. launches nukes (from Poland)... and every single one of those nukes will be recognized by Russian air defense as... friendly.

It's no wonder that Russian military (through Putin's mouth) is now threatening the U.S. (and NATO) with nuclear retaliation.

Russians know perfectly well that their air defense system has been hacked (by the U.S.), so if they detect a single missile launch (from Poland, as those U.S. nukes in Poland are currently the closest ones to Russia), they won't wait for their flawed air defense system to tell them whether that missile is a foe or a friend. They'll just launch their whole nuclear arsenal at everyone.

Those Polish morons in Poland (both the military and the civilian ones) better keep their eyes on those U.S. nukes in their backyard.

Not that they actually will, mind you. They're all morons, after all.

Looks like an F-15 and F-18 had a kid.

Starting in Soviet times, Russia copied American design so their aircraft do like like bastardized versions.

Oh boy. That initialbastardized version (the SU-27) stripped the F-15 of almost every record it ever set shortly after being released.

What you don't understand is that form follows function in almost everything, so their appearances start to somewhat converge naturally. The wing design is quite different and the only thing that really looks similar is the twin vertical stabilizers (which you could say that the F-15 "stole" from the MiG-25)...

The Russia copied everything crowd are the types of guys who would look at a new vacuum cleaner and say it was an obvious copy because it had a moveable handle, a light, a 15ft cord, and a rotating beater bar.

Both in China and Russia stealing/copying foreign technologies is a common practice. Sure, they modify/develop what they steal, but they have to steal first.

I think Nato has figured out how to do some serious jamming on the Russian systems since this thing has carried on so long.

Drones getting through, missiles getting through. Systems getting confused.

Russia has done pretty well over the last 80 years and it wasn't all through theft.
