He was awesome and so funny! Remember when our parents used to let us watch T.V. while we ate... that was a special occasion back then! Had those little T.V. tray things with our meal on it. Sunday nights we were allowed to watch Disney and Ed Sullivan. Forget what night Carol Burnett was on but that was the other one we were allowed to stay up for... Harvey was good..he went on and on....

'Tis a sad day indeed, but Heaven just got a little funnier. Do yourself a favor, watch Blazing Saddles again and remember when the world was a little less fucking uptight. Harvey rocked, and I will miss him :(

That is sad. I remember him and Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett show, and they'd be cracking each other up so bad, they'd be trying so hard not to laugh and just choking on it, we loved them. I was just a kid.

And yes Blazing Saddles, one of the best, I loved when he was fondling that little bronze nude statue - priceless.
