The realm of crystal skull is "offensive" for Peru

The film Indiana Jones:"The realm of crystal skull" is "offensive" for Peru because it has many bugs to be confused with Nazca to Cuzco and say that the Mexican Pancho Villa spoke quechua, critics said today.

The independent analyst film Giovanna Rubina and the portal www.peru.com echoed the "big mistakes" on Peru in the last film starring the veteran actor Harrison Ford.

"An insult to our country. The filmmakers committed serious errors about the culture and history of Peru in the film that chronicles the adventures of the famous archaeologist," concurred Rubina and Peruvian portal.

The film directed by Steven Spielberg confuses the Andean region of Cuzco with the Peruvian coastal city of Nazca, where Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) had to travel with Mutt Williams (Shia La Beouf) to decipher the mystery of The Kingdom of Crystal Skull .

The film is accepted by that Nazca is in the mountains when you are actually on the coast and shows people wearing ponchos and hats in a place that actually makes heat much of the year.

"To reach the treasure actors used as a guide the Nazca Lines, but in the film indicated that these were agricultural use and dating many years before the Conquest as a guide funeral," said www.peru.com.

In the critical states that a scene with Jones and Williams is at the airport Nazca when in fact there is no such air terminal, but a small airfield from where they are based planes flying over the enigmatic Nazca lines.

Additionally in the film is heard a banda sonora against a backdrop of Mexican ranchera music.

It is in that part Indiana Jones says that he knows the local language, quechua, because they fought alongside the hero of the Mexican Revolution, the legendary Pancho Villa, who "has nothing to do with Peru," said the website .

Another error is related to the Spanish explorer Francisco de Orellana, who in the film states that died in Nazca but actually died inside the Amazon in 1545.

In addition, Amazon jungle is shown in the film as an area with quicksand, voracious ants and large waterfalls and Indiana Jones reaches Akator, a kingdom hidden in the middle of the jungle, but with obvious touches Mayan pyramid, which does not accord with reality .

Rubina said that these inaccuracies and the amount free to recreate history that lends itself to controversy.

For his part, historian Manuel Burga, former rector of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, said that it must correct mistakes as it could be bad for tourists who want to know Peru.

"There are incorrect data even if it is a fiction. It is not possible to be confused with the Amazon jungle of Yucatan in Mexico. They need to rectify," he added.

this is an old post, I wonder why you bring it up right now with such and stupid comment...
you know why americans are ignorants? because they don't give a shit about other countries culture.

You thing all Latina America is Mexico... You thing that you can communicate to any other language with "oiga amigo" even if your talking to a chinesa, or a Norwegian.

Is not only a movie for you locals, is a movie for all the world and is important not to insult other culture with your ignorance. Peru is at least 10 thousand miles far from Mexico ...it is in South America while Mexico, USA and Canada are North America.

is like confuse people from USA with people form Russia
