Iran claims a new ballistic missile can travel at hypersonic speeds
It looks like Iran now has a hypersonic missile that can evade air defenses. With the US and Israel waiting for the context to launch an air strike with bunker busters and/or mini-nukes, this should make it more complicated as the potential response could be more convincing:

All ballistic missiles that leave the atmosphere will be hypersonic upon re-entry, but will be travelling slower near their high point in space. Ballistic missiles can be intercepted in space, as Israel has recently demonstrated. During retry is much more challenging, although a Patriot battery did take down a hypersonic in Ukraine.

Sure they do…their missiles and water drones use components from Amazon.
