They could not hold such a case, as it was lunacy that this police officer was prosecuted for a drug pusher swallowing his own stash.

According to the coroner, his heart was enlarged and a release of adrenaline could affect his breathing, so he was already panicked- at that point his own fault and if he'd dropped over dead it wouldn't have had anything to do with an officer's misconduct. But then the incident was taken to an even higher level by action of the cops.

I just re-watched the video and Chauvin was definitely grinding his knee into Floyd's neck, not shoulder. I tried to link it, but it wouldn't go through.

The primary expert that got Chauvin convicted testified in scientific detail how sitting on someone’s chest restricts their ability to take deep enough breaths, leading to asphyxiation. Not something I made up. I watched the whole trial.

A pulmonologist and national expert on breathing, Dr. Martin Tobin, testified on April 8 that even "a healthy person subjected to what Mr. Floyd was subjected to would have died."

He said the cause of Floyd's death was low oxygen levels caused by shallow breaths due to Floyd's body position and the pressure of Chauvin's knee on his neck.

"Mr. Floyd died from a low level of oxygen. And this caused damage to his brain that we see, and it also caused a PEA arrhythmia that caused his heart to stop," Tobin said.

Well, I am someone who any defense attorney would love to have on a jury because my need of proof of guilt is pretty significant. So, though I think it's logical that an action like that very well could be a factor leading to someone's death who was already overloaded with drugs and in a panicked state- and that they should have been listened to when they said he couldn't breath, it would need to be proven to me medically that it was a factor and then I would vote high degree manslaughter, excessive force, negligence of an officer.

Derek Chauvin was in on it. Keep him in jail until he rots.

People can often handle much more than what is considered a fatal dose. It’s called tolerance. And there are tons of cases where medical staff has said well you should’ve died or you should be dead right now cuz that’s a fatal dose. Dude probably takes that on a daily basis. Cops need to be taught a lesson don’t use this technique because it actually can kill even if it didn’t kill him. He should be liable for his death just by applying the technique he learned from the IDF. Not sure but didn’t they say this was not an authorized technique.

Maybe reduce his charges but he’s guilty of manslaughter and violation of civil rights if he was overdosing it should’ve been apparent at some point and he should’ve gotten medical attention. The cop delayed his medical attention if that is the case. Kneel on his back if you are trying to take a smoke break and are being lazy on the clock not on his neck.
