governments require people just as people require governments. it is supposed to be a symbiotic arrangement. not parasitical.

unfortunately, it almost always ends up being that way. and as it feeds it grows and grows. (parasite .gov)

Some aspects of government do not serve people, they serve corporate interests.
I will have you know for the record, that corporate bodies are defined as not natural entities by the word of law.

flesh and blood individual humans are social creatures. we form groups, and use words / symbols / abstractions to organize our thoughts and behaviors.

corporations are abstract entities. a specialized kind of group-manifested archetypal entity that is concerned with making profits, often at the expense of individual flesh and blood humans.

the government as we have allowed it to manifest itself is a corporation concerned mainly with making profits at the expense of individual flesh and blood humans, which it is supposed to be serving and protecting.

this is permitted and enabled by other individual flesh and blood humans who hold positions of power within the governmental group, because they benefit from the arrangement.

it is parasitical in its nature; as it has been allowed to manifest itself, as it now stands. i don't think that necessarily has to be the case. but usually is because of 'human nature'. etc

but government is a shadow extension of the people, and as such it has a kind of life of its own, and goes through its own kind of personal evolution, and even 'dies' at a certain point. imo

but it is abstract though. not flesh and blood, but an extension of flesh and blood individual humans.
