Well, I've lived all over the country (and even outside of the US), around all kinds of people, worked all kinds of jobs in all kinds of environments. I've seen a lot. What I've seen is fairly interesting, but there are others with more interesting stories to tell.

There are other exceptions to be considered as well. Such as if I've been working on equipment or vehicles and I'm covered in grease, grime and oil, then yeah I'm using a soap and a scrubber. But it's always gonna be straight cold water no matter what.

For high school graduations the last years I worked in high schools, it was usual to limit each student to a few "tickets" at the ceremony.

Not that they cost money - they were a way to make sure each and every student could invite some family and friends.

Otherwise, some familes would show up with 20-30 members who were obviously using the graduation ceremony as a way to drink and do whatever.

Glad NOT to be around that any longer. Worst was the big noisy pushy group that screamed out when their "student" lost out in a spelling bee. They actually re-instated him.

I did not believe the energy drink thing a first and tried with and without. THere seemed to be a correlation. Then I abstained for a while. And once in a very long time would try just so see. And I will tell you that though I cannot prove anything, my experience was there was a strong association of spiritual aggravation after the energy drinks and taking some effort to neutralize.
