Cincinnati's Sky Is On Fire...or something else?
I woke up this morning at 6am to red windows like I've never seen before, and snapped some footage.

With the blinds closed:

When I looked outside this is what I saw:

Here's a video(in processing/check back later):

It looked so orange/red like a fire was happening nearby...

I'm always up this early, and I've never seen a sunrise like that here. Not to mention the sunrise happens about an hour earlier (5-5:30am)! So I don't know wtf it was! But whatever it was moved away fast, because now 25 minutes later, it looks normal, but overcast & windy. It was raining over the night, and more Storms are coming later I just heard on the news. Possibly a warning to get the fuck out of here?

I noticed the reddish orange sky this morning ,the blue was different but created a beautiful effect and there was light rain causing my view to be framed by a rainbow. It was inspiring then a few minutes later , normal sky.I,m in the eastgate area of cincinnati.

here too, in Southeast MI west of Detroit. I woke up at 5:30, and the light outside was sooo strange. Bright orangey yellow, and looked more north than east.

had storms here last night, don't know if it's related

The sky was just like that around 8:00-8:30 last night here in Indianapolis. Since then, our state has gotten between 6.5 to 10 inches of rain. Good luck with that....swimmingly yours.

I agree with the other posters. Cincinnati is surely doomed. Get out while you still can. Don't come to Dayton, we don't want you. Stay over on the Kentucky side and kiss your ass good bye.

I live in Dayton. I can confirm the same thing this morning about 5:30. The bright red sky was in the northeast, about 45 degrees.

Well.... no weird weather has happened today. Remained overcast, with some light drizzle, but that's about it.

ok it's clear now. The sun shining through these pinkish pollution clouds is what is causing it...

Yeah it looks pretty...but it's only pollution that causes the amazing colors...

I know it's part of the sunrise/sunset, but it's never been that red before, and I've lived here 7+ years. So it seems really odd to me.

I've notice variations too.

Most aren't looking at the subtle changes, but will look when the big ones happen.

That's pollution in the atmosphere. The blue sky might turn yellow.
