A sheep farmer, his dog, and one sheep from his flock are the only survivors of a sinking ship, and the three of them all wash up on a tiny deserted island.

Finding themselves the only ones there, they go about establishing a pattern to fill their days. Each evening, the three would go atop a small hill and sit and watch the sunset as it disappeared across the small lagoon.
