Even then most of the crowd stayed put & didn’t move. Then the large magnetic doors similar to those in a bank vault were opened from the inside. Videos show DC police officers leading the crowd through the building to the Congressional Chamber. Fact. 95% of everyone there were nonviolent & wandered around taking pictures like they were on a sightseeing tour. Fact. 95% of the other 5% were FBI plants inserted to gin up the crowd & cause destruction & injury. They failed to do so. Fact. It wasn’t an insurrection or coup d’état. Not even remotely close to that. Fact. The ongoing persecution of people who were simply there or in some cases just nearby is so unfathomable that if you put it in a movie no one would believe it. I was pissed that the certification was interfered with because it would have been interesting to let the process go forward and see how many objections there were. After the raucous was over, most of those who would not have certified had withdrawn their decertification and went and voted in favor.

As my husband and I watched live we saw people gather peacefully and only entered the Capitol Building after being invited and led in by the police themselves.
