How the Houthis could get revenge on the U.S. for airstrikes by cutting a FIFTH of the world's internet: Yemen warns militants are threatening to sabotage network of Red Sea underwater cables

Yemen government warns of threat to 'world's digital infrastructure'
Some fiber optic cables lie at only 100 meter depth
Analysts warn Houthis could drop depth charges

Iranian-backed Houthi militants in Yemen could try to sabotage internet cables in the Red Sea carrying nearly one fifth of the world's web traffic, according to a spate of new warnings.

Yemen's government warned that the Red Sea is 'one of the three most important meeting points for cables' on the globe and the Houthis pose a 'serious threat to one of the most important digital infrastructures in the world.'

It came after a Houthi social media channel published a map showing the routes of various cables through the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea.

This whole Yemen thing seems like total bullshit.

weren't they fighting Saudi Arabia? How can they open a second front, they are stuck on the peninsula of a desert, blocked by SA.

Suddenly they have unlimited missiles and boats, even tech to find fiber optic cables 100+ meters down? A map to the cables is one thing, but the ocean floor is huge and if you are off by a few meters, you'll never see it.

How can they even have 1 radar left to see the traffic in the red sea? Didn't the "Coalition" just bomb the piss out of them? isn't SEAD the first part of a bombing mission?

They are being allowed to do this.

Otherwise the USA would have destroyed their ports, warships, and every fishing boat they have. They should have zero radar systems giving them no view on passing ships.

Where is the naval blockade to stop them from receiving weapons from Iran?

And with Egypt losing their only source of revenue (because what stupid tourist would go there right now), why isn't the Egyptian air force and navy pummeling them.

This is being allowed to happen, plain and simple.

Damn, so much truth and facts in one post, coming from an American, that's it's very and quite astonishing, you're so over the F.L.A.K.

If any internet cables cut off do happen, you'll know they did it themselves, just like they allowed the Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, the Oklahoma Bombings, the WTC bombings, the 9 11

Such an action, would perfectly fit their sick agendas, of and for the GREAT FINANCIAL RESET while conveniently they'll blame the Muslims and the Islamic World, same like the did with the 9 11 with the Talibans and the Mujehedins, where they blamed them for brainwashing psyop of the Americans to willingly die for their Bankster MIC wars in the Middle East, and to have the uttmost reason to strip you of your rights with the Patriot Act, you have the largest terrorist in your own Government, not abroad ffs.
