Just got these solar lights from Temu. Highly recommend . Prepper prep stuff
Sold under the moniker 108COB, or:
solar sensor street lamp 108COB

It's suitable for shtf, but useful in everyday life.
You can carry them around like a light paddle.
8 or 9 bucks each, but you can find deals where you buy more for less money per unit.
They are BRIGHT. Two lumen settings: blinding and bright. Supposed to last for 6 to 12 hours.
Even has a remote control.
Comes with a bracket the the unit slides on to.
Motion detector setting is laughingly called human induction or some nonsense
The only thing missing is a USB charging port.
This will be my shed light, my back porch light and my camper light.
My wife got a box of four. She wanted to replace a door illuminator for the camper. She hit gold.

This saves me work and money because I don't have to wire a back porch light, or move the front door light that doesn't quite illuminate the key portion of the front door. Or wire the shed.

Wattage will eat up your solar.those cobs eat power like candy.there is no free ride with photons.

Get flexible panels if you are in a hail zone or get a protective pipe to shield against directly over head and tilt panels down before a storm.

Luckily uncke sams lot of ammonia is drying up or we would be in hail on earth.
I like rigid panels but odds are the future is flexible.

Have you looked at clear roofing panels? Seems like cheap hail insurance. People don't think about hail when they get all solar happy.

Why don't you test one and see how long it lasts?

I bought some stuff a few months ago.
Most everything was worth it and definitely low priced. I will most likely buy again.

But early this week I read that the Temu app is bad news and a class action lawsuit is in the works. According to the article they can read your private messages, among other things. Is it true, I don't know.

I began having problems with my phone freezing and lagging so much that the error message didn't display until minutes after the freeze unlocked. I uninstalled the app and the problem went away, but a couple days later it was back but not as bad.

The phone trouble continued until later on it got a security update. Problem solved.

I found that since I'm a member I can view the site without using the app.

They do love to spam you with offers, usually really deep discounts.

What did I get? Splatter targets, gun slings and swivels, shooting sandbags, wireless bulb cameras, polishing wheels, stripper wheels, o-rings, bolts, endoscope camera, locking grease gun fittings, turn signals, heated vest, and some shirts. Two shirts weren't as expected, they refunded and I kept the shirts.

I also got credit for late deliveries twice.

Oh, the gun cleaning kit is ok too, it's in an aluminum case, all calibers. But they offer more than one brand.

Rather than candles or oil lamps...you could leave 4 solar lights outside during the day to charge.

Bring them in at night & use them one at a time. When one fades out, turn on the next.

Perfect for a SHTF sitch! Or for camping.

Why not use a solar battery charger? I've had excellent results with Tenergy brand rechargeable AAA and AA batteries. I bought a bunch of them three years ago and haven't bought a battery since. I usually have at least six ready to swap in. Didn't spend very much for them, on eBay.

My laser sight/flashlight uses a C123 battery, same as my solar weather radio, so the weather radio keeps the laser going.

I don't go to any retail sites from my phone. That said, I do buy from Temu using my desktop computer.

A couple of websites send ads to my phone via text, if it looks interesting I physically copy the sales site to my home computer to check it out. Don't trust any retail purchasing from my phone.

Last article I read said Temu was hacking everything, and not protecting user data.

Just turn one of the lights on and see how long it lasts. Is this one that brightens when there motion or just on or off? Was looking at them but didn't get into the details.

no, they won't last all night but long enough for me.

I bought my first set three years ago and they did have
deficiencies, The solar cell and battery were too
small and they'd only stay on for perhaps 5 minutes.

I replaced them about 6 months ago with a much better
version. The solar cell and battery are over 2X
larger and they last as long as I've needed, my
guess is they store about 30 minutes of power.
