gooderboy User ID: 68238 ![]() 06/21/2008 09:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... well now, lol, come on out, and we'll make that wanna be 'cool thang' o'yours come true.... our rodeo season is just now gettin' a'goin' out here in northwestern Kansas. And and and, one of them kinda cool thingies that I got to do was to be able to go to a so called real Hollywood party. It was for the cast and crew of 'Laugh In'... and when I was like 22, or so, lol. It was also in a very very well done old Hollywood mansion too. Lol, that was a trip.... and, it was a for sure 'first' for me. As far as a really cool thing I'd like to do though... and well... golly, that's a bit of tuffy, and cuz I've really got to do most everything I've ever wanted to do. So, maybe I'd hafta say that it would be really more than cool if I can just keep right on doing all that I already am doing... and yeah, lol, that would be very.... verrrrryyy kewl indeed! |

Not sure that I'd do it, but I do "get" the profound coolness of this ritual. You're a kind soul to share in your friend's and her father's wishes in such a way. Saw several UFOs while on a camping trip with a group of friends. We were miles away from civilization and we were observed by several flying discs that stayed up in the sky for hours. Things I would like to do: Spend a year in Micronesia teaching science to children. OK, very intriguing. Why Micronesia, and why science in particular? I have a feeling your answers could be very illuminating. Meet a girl that understands me and still loves me... If you really want it, this wish will come true. Be patient. |

And, WHOSE house was it? Give up the DETAILS gooder! ... one of my best friends at the time was in programming at CBS, and was also going with one of the gaffers on the show. It was a party to celebrate their first season, and everyone from the show was there, and then some too. At first I was really blown away... and you know, sorta dumbfounded, very star-struck, and pretty much just totally blown away that I was even there... and for real too. Once I got over all that stuff though... it turned out to be a really fun party... and... for a more than huge-ly successful first season too. So like, everyone was also really running on high for the party as well. And you know... a successful first season means more money for every one/thing... better guests, better sets, better writers, and all that kinda gooder stuff. And, it was in the house/mansion that Douglas Fairbanks had built for to woo Mary Pickford way back when. And then, one of them CBS bigwigs owned it at the time of the party. And very kewl house too, lol... it was also the very first time I had ever seen one of those silent butlers... and I didn't even know what the heck it was, lol... I thought it was a short cut to somewheres. |

Spectrum Blue User ID: 454394 ![]() 06/22/2008 01:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cool thing I've done is visit Machu Pichu, and go on an archeological dig near Pachacamac. All in Peru. Cool thing I'd like to do is live in Japan and sing and play bass in a band. Dreams will begin as they fade into chaos. |
Ghostsister User ID: 456101 ![]() 06/22/2008 01:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cool thing I've done: Hiked in the rainforest of Moorea, Tahiti and chanced upon a waterfall flowing into a clear still pool. Words cannot describe the moment. Cool thing I'd like to do: Stay in the tree houses in Kenya, Africa where you can view the jungle animals from the canopies. Also, I've ice fished in Alaska and danced in a night club in Puerto Rico when I was only fifteen but looked much older. I'd like to write a number one selling book. ps. Cool answers Spectrum Blue! Macchu Pichu is also on my kewl list of things to do. |

Quoting: voice 455982Did you get to see Goldie Hawn gooderboy? I sure like to meet her! ... yes, I got to meet Goldie... and I was kinda surprised at the time, and that she wasn't at all as dingy as she came off on the show. To which, lol, and I was also reminded at the same time, that that's why they call it acting. What did I know though, and cuz that was like one of the first times that I had ever even been around folks like that. Later on, and like 4 years down the road... another gooder friend of mine, David Westberg (he had pretty gooder talking parts in 'Logan's Run' and 'Tora Tora Tora') was dating 'Little Lucy' (Lucy Arnez), and we spent a Mother's Day at Mama Lucy's house. And Lucille Ball really blew me away... and cuz she was not at all like she came off on the screen. She was very serious like, and more than very very business like as well... and, lol, one hell of a wicked Scrabble player too... it was also her favourite game/past-time. (David and Little Lucy were also doing the play 'Caberet' at the time) And and and, one of them kinda cool thingies that I got to do was to be able to go to a so called real Hollywood party. What is a silent butler? Is that the same as a dumb-waiter? (little elevator thing?). ... okay, but it was not 'Pickfair'... but rather a lesser known house/mansion just up the canyon, and right off of Laurel Canyon Blvd., and that Douglas Fairbanks Jr. actually lived in for a while after they split up. (I was told at the time that Msr Fairbanks had the house built for to impress Ms Pickford of his intentions towards her... and as in, lol, "See, I'm not a womanizer.") And yes, it was a dumb-waiter.... and at the time when I was asking about it looking like some sort of a shortcut, that's what someone said it was too. But, lol, JoAnne Worley was also standing close by and she said something to the likes of, "Shhhhh!... we can't have any 'dumb waiters' around here." (which, lol, came out with sort of a bite as she said it too... and which I didn't know at the time, but they were also having some union troubles on the set, and no one was wanting for to ruffle anyone's feathers... lol, even the waiters, who were union as well) |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 447201 ![]() 06/22/2008 08:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | cool done: hangglinding when i was 15(talk about a birdseye view!), whitewater rafting numerous times on numerous rivers(talk about beautiful scenery!) cool to do: jump outta plane(with parachute of course!) or basejump that big hole in the ground in Mexico. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 352419 ![]() 06/22/2008 08:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've jumped out of a perfectly good plane a few hundred times. Been to war twice. Took food to starving people in Africa in the middle. Got married. Had children. Got divorced. Got married again...this time for good. Dumped my white collar job and retired at 42. Then became an EMT 3 years later. Life is a wild ride if you want it to be. |
