Is it fair to ask why it was never prosecuted before he became president?

Is it fair to ask why it is only now being prosecuted three years after his term. WHILE HE IS RUNNING AGAIN FOR PRESIDENT?

And by "inflating the value on his books of his real estate holdings"?

How can we know the exact value of real estate until it is SOLD?

And is it not incumbent on those who would INVEST IN or LEND TO such real estate interests to DO THEIR OWN DUE DILIGENCE in estimating the value of their real estate holdings?

Does caveat emptor not apply?

Don't get me wrong. I am not even a big fan of Donald Trump at this point, but there are bigger issues than him personally at this point.

First of all, if they can go after him in this way -- and this seems to be very political LAWFARE (legal warfare), who else can they go after?

Other political opponents of the liberal-RINO uniparty state?

You?

This is something that should and does have some very chilling effects in my opinion.

These show trials would make Stalin proud.

Maybe they would even make him blush.

Because the legal system is slow as a snail.

Re: So, this "fraud" that Trump committed before he was President...
Let me tell you, it's a total witch hunt, the biggest witch hunt in the history of witch hunts, believe me. They never went after me before I was president because they knew they had nothing, nothing! But now, oh, they're scared. They're scared because we're winning, we're winning big, and they can't handle it. So they come up with this, this ridiculous thing about inflating real estate values.

Real estate, folks, it's an art, not a science. The value, it's whatever people are willing to pay for it. It's like magic – one day it's worth one thing, the next day, who knows? Millions more, billions even! And these investors, these big, smart investors, they're not babies. They're supposed to do their homework, right? If they're not looking into it, if they're not doing their due diligence, that's on them. Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware, absolutely. It's like buying a car without checking under the hood – who does that?

But here they are, trying to pin this on me, three years after I left office, while I'm running again. It's so obvious, so transparent. They can't compete fairly, so they try to take me down with legal nonsense. But we won't let them, will we? We're going to keep winning, and they're going to keep losing, and that's the way it's going to be. Fantastic, really fantastic.

So, the defense of this is: this the result of our broken American judicial system.

Interesting admission.

I would posit our judicial system is VERY BROKEN -- and that such delays are just one aspect of that.

Our system has also become extremely POLITICAL and PARTIAL.

My guess is there was a five year statute of limitations on this type of charge, it takes a while to put a case about financial "fraud" together, and the timing was played by this liberal attorney general in NY to do the most harm she could to Trump.

And that very likely does include New York.

It is certainly the case here in California.

"And is it not incumbent on those who would INVEST IN or LEND TO such real estate interests to DO THEIR OWN DUE DILIGENCE in estimating the value of their real estate holdings?"

They did do their DD and even testified in court that they did. Plus Trump applications even told them that they should/ The only fraud here is by the prosecutor persecutor and the judge.

But there was no “crime”. The whole case was fabricated and the judge pronounced Trump guilty before the trial ever started!
