Comedian George Carlin has died

Carlin was a self-professing atheist and most of you people think he was some type of comedy god.

I'm sad to see him leave the planet. He just was
a wonderful and heartfelt person behind all the
crudeness and 'bad language'. He cared, which is
more than I can say for 'god'.

This favorite clip of yours sounds just like the devil himself. Every word out of his mouth, in direct contradiction to the holy scripture. They can be trusted 10,000% more than any comedian ever dreamed of. Especially one who looks, dresses, and acts like a demon.

I know he was anti religion and all but i know he is in Heaven God understood him : )

I would not want to be in his shoes, before the Great White T. Truly a shame that he never repented.

A day in history? I can't believe this thread is still going. He was just a person like you and me. There will come a day when no one will remember the Godless. That's the way it will be. We christians are upset with this thread for a number of reasons. Some of you act like he
was/is a god. Some of you truly believe that he is floating around, watching over us or that he is in heaven.
But George himself did not believe those things so I find that interesting. Some of you assume we've never heard anything that he has done, when in truth some of us have
and I bet most of you weren't even born yet. Some of us have life experiences that have shown us without a doubt that there is a God...that we were in danger or in a crossroads in our life where we wouldn't have made it without God either protecting us or hearing our prayers.
The main thing getting repeated is this notion of fairy tales that we believe in; but one only has to open a history book to realize that Pontius Pilate, Herod and others were real, existing people. Your argument holds no logic. I feel like I'm debating with a bunch of highschoolers and maybe I am. Jesus died a very PUBLIC death. I find it interesting that some on this board are calling it like they see it. Here is a man that died, not knowing Jesus Christ. He slammed Jesus, the Ten Commandments and God. He made his living doing this. And the world accepted this. So now he is dead. And we are just saying that you are wrong when you say he is in heaven, or looking down on us...whatever. It's simply not true. You would expect all of us to just nod our head in agreement to everything you have said concerning him? You unbelievers are the first to call us fools but yet we are expected to contradict what we have said in the past and say...oh yeah....he's in a better place? I don't think so.
You reap what you sow. We are not going to agree with what you are saying. We have that right. And on top of that, we
get called names. It's not even highschoolish...it's straight out of Junior High. The biggest problem I have is
that eventually--we all die. The people on this board who
aren't believers are some of the most angry, bitter people.
And so was George. Where did it get him in the end? Where is it going to get you? What's an even bigger fairy tale
is believing this earth and the universe with all it's complexities was just one big happy accident. Every single thing is random. You are slapped upside the head with miracles all around you and you still refuse to see. Science is just all of man with a bunch of theories. And they keep changing them...changing answers and you trust all this. You put your faith in that. Heck, I remember when they found that the rings of saturn were braided and they were all shocked. They don't know everything! We are all spiritual being that will all someday have to stand in
front of God.

Having a narrow viewpoint is not entertaining the possibility that there is a God of the Universe that died for you and wants you to spend eternity with him and loved ones. How sad that Bill Maher genuinely cared for this man and yet because they rejected the message and salvation in Christ, that they will not see each other ever again.
The narrow view is not christianity. The truly narrow view is the rejection of the sacrifice made for you out of love.
