Tell your funny or weird blockbuster video stories

I went into a store once and got a movie and the dude behind the counter said..."you must really like this movie hey"...and I said "why" and he said cos you have already had it out 3 times"

Couldnt remember a thing about the movie

XD we used to get these two candies (cookie dough bites) and (sno caps)

You could only get them at the movie theaters OR Blockbuster

Kinda miss that time. It was kinda of an event for me,my wife and her girls to go to block buster pick out movies,make popcorn and root beer floats and gather to watch a few films. I miss that stuff.

Definitely a memory where everyone has so many experiences from that store.

Just as a practical joke, I once went into a store and switched the video fr the latest big budget blockbuster action movie for... "Spiceworld". Minutes later, some mid-20s executive dude strolled in, picked up the tape and went to the checkout, The machine and the receipt he signed clearly showed "Spiceworld", yet neiher the clerk nor he noticed... he just signed and went off home.

Lol I thought they kept the movie cases locked, those which customers grabbed

does anyone know if that rewind the tape crap was actually real? did anyone actually get fined for not rewinding?

It was "please be kind and rewind" I did know of any imposition on things being re-wound

We also had hollywood video. They closed and I wanted their giant spiral gumball machine but they said

"That's going to corp"
