People forget the sequence:

scandals, gas theft, Maidan, anti-Maidan bloodily destroyed by prowestern gouvernment (e.g. Odessa, 100 people burned alive...), Donetsk, Lugansk rebellion, shelling of Donetsk (special operation of Ukraine...) - many civilians killed, normally Russia has interests, comes in and there is evil!

The problem with all this is that people quickly forget how events unfolded. Normally, capitalism is cruel, in order for someone to feel good, someone has to suffer. You destroy a country and pick up the best, that's how the USA worked after World War 2. The problem is that they did not expect the Russians to recover so quickly after the collapse of the USSR

Personally, the problem is not big states, but the elites and the system - capitalism. People just follow orders in the majority :(. The system forces strong countries to rob and blackmail weaker ones, based on that they have a standard.

Generally I support Russia because what Kiev did to the Donbass people is horrific. While you went about your life, people in Donbass were being shelled and thrown into detention centers. Why didn't you care then? It's 5 million people in southeastern Ukraine who cried for freedom, for independence and the west turned a blind eye. Someone had to help these people and Russia did. That makes them a hero.

I think the Internet has actually done a lot for mankind.

1) It gave everyone a voice! Before, the media told everyone what their opinion was, and that was the end of it. Now there are people like me and others here in particular that speak the truth as they see it. The state no longer has a monopoly on communication.

2) It gave everyone access to knowledge. If something breaks on your car or in your home, there are a dozen videos showing the details of a repair or remedy.

3) It ended up giving citizens the secrets governments had been hiding. We know that 911 was an inside job. We pretty much know that Kennedy was killed by his own CIA and the mafia. We know that we did not land on the Moon. We know of a lot of false flags that the CIA ran to try and start wars and to push certain agendas. It has ALMOST given citizens the knowledge to regain their freedom! Almost! So Close.

4) We used to waste a lot of time looking for things. Driving here and there to store after store looking for parts and replacement stuff. Now a few clicks on the internet and we have searched the global supply, read reviews about alternatives, and bought the best solution to our needs.

5) We figured out that not only was the Covid vaxxine untested and potentially dangerous, but that governments were eliminating free speech to force their narrative upon us. And we learned that Ivermectin cured and prevented covid. It really WAS safe and effective! And now it is letting us see the effects of the vaccine that would have been hidden entirely from the public.

That might be the end of the good stuff, but there is some pretty major stuff there. Hell, I used to have to take a trip to a library to research a topic. Now in just a few minutes I have so much data at my fingertips. Some may be disinformation, so we have to learn discernment, but the answer is out there!

Unfortunately it has grown a new breed of subhuman filth that are the paid shills for the CIA, Big Pharma, and global Misery Inc.

Life isn't all roses. but we at least have glimpses now of what is possible.

Edit: The other thing technology has brought forth is the cheap drone. Smaller countries used to be totally at the mercy of the great superpowers with mighty warships, air forces, and submarines. Now any viable country can build a cheap drone force that tends to level the battlefield.

Colonial oppression is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
And it has only just begun.
