Men & women need to stop accepting and allowing shit to happen and learn to walk away. Mr Jones found himself in so many encounters and each time he just accepted them....underage sex workers, spiked drinks, shootings, sexual assaults.
Long before anything actually happened to himself he witnessed several things that should have had him heading for the door. Yet he volunteered to stay another night, and another and another.
Why do people wait for someone to save them?
Just put one foot in front of the other and WALK AWAY. You may feel as though you are ruining your opportunity for fame and riches but you are gaining so much more.

I just can't read the case with any sympathy for Mr Jones. He wasn't imprisoned. He is a grown up male with skills and talents. WALK AWAY.
If EVERYONE did that there would be far fewer victims in the world.

I agree.

I was one who walked away - from the music industry in LA in the 80's rather than sell my body and soul. It was made clear to me, repeatedly, by more than one at the top, that that was the price of admission, and that talent and beauty are not enough.

This whole story doesn't add up. If he was one of them, why are they sacrificing him? Surely he will turn over their names as well if he goes down. Have to wonder if he's being set up.
