MASS UFO event occurred over Dallas Texas the night of July 20th 2008.

Dear GLP,

Today I feel like I have woken up in an episode of the Twilight Zone. One of the most amazing events you could ever hope to witness occurred last night but there is not a single mention of it anywhere.

Before I begin my recollection I wish to say that everything I am about to relate is the complete and absolute truth and that I personally witnessed every event and object that I am about to describe. My girlfriend also witnessed the phenomena, as did anyone that was outside who I could stop and advise to look up.

In all honesty, I am at quite a loss and absolutely amazed/confused/mortified that something of this magnitude happened but it is not being covered by a single news agency. But anyway, I shall leave you in suspense no more, here comes a complete description of what happened last night.

At around 11pm on Sunday the 20th of July I was taking the dog out for his walk and within seconds of emerging outside was instantly aware of a strangeness. There were too many stars in the sky when compared to what I was used to seeing in that direction.

Not only were there too many stars, some of the new stars were quite clearly cycling from silver/white light to green, then to red. Let me however start with the "primary" object that first got my attention.

From the position of the moon over Dallas at 11pm last night, if you were to look 7 (verticle) hand lengths to the right on the two o'clock radial you would come across an extraordinarily bright star. How bright? Factors of magnitude brighter and larger than your average star and generating so much light that you could see 4 distinct points emanating from it.

But bright stars aren't that exciting, except when they're moving around, as this star-like object was. It would do a quite profound circle and lots of erratic zig zaggy movements that ultimately allowed it to remain in the same vicinity. I feel it important to mention here that there was no interpretation necessary to quantify that the object was moving. The movements were not vague, nor questionable. Instead they demonstrated enough movement over distance so that it was obvious that the object clearly move to a different position; at times, more than an inch away from its previous location. But as I was to discover, the bright star was just an appetizer.

Looking around the sky, particularly the regions that had amassed "too many" stars I started to notice that star like objects were moving around all over the place. Using two hands raised vertically and placed side by side I was able to generate rough "sectors/quadrants" and after moving around in a complete circle I was able to establish that there was an anomalous object in every "sector/quadrant." They were literally, and I do mean literally all over the sky.

In fact, to describe the sky as having dozens (rough estimate 40 - 60) of moving objects/UFOs it would not have be an exaggeration and because of this I was convinced it would be all over the news. Admittedly, none of the objects were traversing the sky one end to the other but observed movements were always long enough to alleviate doubt.

Things however got stranger. Thus, I am simply going to relate exactly what I saw without diluting the information with my own opinions/conclusions or imprecise descriptions caused by estimation/jargon or in attempting to relate to technology. And honestly, I would greatly value people's conclusions as to what they surmise is going on in my description. I certainly remember my initial thoughts as it was the catalyst for the event changing from fascinating to "oh crap".

The best description I can offer is that it was like certain UFOs (star-like object) had, and this is odd, it's own territory. And I say territory because of the consistency of the event/behavior over the sky through the night.

Anyway, a star-like object/UFO would sit quite still within its zone. But what would happen next is really just quite extraordinary. Another star-like object/UFO would either "fade-in" or streak across the sky and stop at a point, literally, just outside of the other objects territory. The "aggressing object" would then move enough to breach the invisible territorial boundaries.

This would result in immediate action from the guarding UFO and a small, pin prick like round object would be launched/ejected from the defending UFO. Literally like the "bullet" from the original Asteroids video game, these round, small points of light were relatively dim, silver/white colored and travelled in a constant, straight line. This would illicit a response from the agressing UFO where it would literally, categorically and undeniably, JUMP/TELEPORT to a new position within 1 - 3 inches of its previous location. You would then see the small pin-prick of light continue on its path to where the object was.

Actually, at first, this wasn't as much of a brown pant's moment because of the comedic aspect associated with the back and forth exchange.

Literally, like a retarded game of tennis, the aggressing UFO would then launch its own "pin prick of light"/round object at the defending UFO. To which the response would be to jump/teleport to a different location and the previously launched object would miss. This would literally continue over numerous fruitless exchanges until, amusingly, an object would give up.

I remember saying to "the sky", "So, you can travel across the Galaxy but no one has figured out how to shoot each other yet". You might want to work the kinks out of that before trying again. Clearly ignoring my sarcasm these exchanges continued all over the sky through the night.

I even amused myself by sarcastically giving the objects team names and making a mock commentary along the lines of "Dear oh dear, he's missed again, this is going to be another long, tedious scoreless game".

The joviality didn't however endure for that long, thanks to a very poignant question my girlfriend asked. "So, what do you want me to do about it?" I was forced to seriously contemplate this rare/odd situation all around. I advised her to go back to bed and that I will continue to watch and assess the situation and if I tell her to get dressed, grab the dogs and come with me that she just do it.

So, I stayed up until 4am in the morning watching the extraordinary and fantastic events in the sky with absolutely no idea what happens/comes next. By 4am though it literally all came to a halt. Numerous objects just stopped moving and held their position. Others blinked out and some played with the clouds. Again I can't explain the behavior or reasoning behind this behacor but can only offer an analogy based on Human concepts.

As the clouds rolled in and started to "block out the star like objects" the occasional "prankster" would pop (jump/teleport) in front of the cloud, then go back behind it. This would continue indefinitely rather like a game of peek-a-boo. It appeared even that the object was "playing" as I could find no beneficial/logical/necessary reason for its actions.

Furthermore, there were two phenomenon that I witnessed infrequently and relatively rarely but very clearly.

The first was a colored streak that would flash across the sky. I saw around 3 - 5 red and green streaks in total that looked very much like a meteorite in the atmosphere or a re-entry vehicle.

The final green streak though was considerably closer and I absolutely and truthfully could make out a vehicle in front. The vehicle was highly geometric, and seemed to consist of nothing more than a rectangle with two triangular wings stuck to it. Although "Plane like" it did not represent anything manufactured that I am aware of.

The next phenomena I really didn't expect to encounter but is well documented and discussed ; the "camera flashes".

To explain: a star like object would briefly, but intensely flash a white light that would illuminate a portion of the sky and clouds just like what a camera flash does.

My final observation I have concluded was actually under human control. Whilst all the UFOs were dancing around and going about their business, a source of illumination, like a spotlight, but larger and wider would be visible from cloud to cloud. I eventually learnt that following this light would lead to objects doing something "interesting, like combat" or revealing entering objects or objects behaving more extremely.

Needless to say, after witnessing an event of this magnitude I am baffled and perplexed that there is nothing on TV, or the Internet describing it.

Although I don't like revealing it, for the sake of the sanity of anyone trying to further investigate this remarkable event, it was witnessed from Euless, Texas.
