Well, I will agree that we are not the best team as in years past. Last night was just horrible! And I will give China credit where it is due (even if they are under age), the floor exercise were beautiful, and the music was wonderful. It got the crowd going too. Ours just sucked I thought.

They take these kids from their parents at age 3, and the kids sees their parents like once a year...that's appalling.

and plus, as a child, they truly don't know the pressure of what they are doing. There's no awareness. It's like play time. When you are older, you realize what is riding on your win and the consequence. Adults would be easier.

no , i did not hear that, that sucks, but it is happening all over the world, not just china, many children work long hours, making our shoes, or sifting through garbage for food or metals to sell, death before the age of 12 is common

I felt so bad for Alicia last night. You know she just cried herself to sleep that night. It is alot of pressure. And FWIW, I just hate this scoring system! Gone are the days when you can get a Perfect 10. I watch Nadia last night on youtube, and boy, she was good! And Bela was her coach too.

To be honest who cares? If it means great competition then let them use children of whatever age they want, hell im sure they have Embryo's that are better at Gymnastics that us brits.

I think some of you guys are just looking for any excuse to accuse china of cheating.

They will cheat, lie and poison and the world just sits by and cheers.

hey good video. there was a forensic artist on there and she pointed out alot of interesting things. i could tell by their teeth. i have a 9 year old. between 8 and 10, most kids have a that mix of baby teeth and permanent teeth.

AND did you notice they hardly smiled? one of the little girls started to laugh once, and she slammed her hand over her mouth. kind of like, oops they told me not to show my teeth!

those girls trained hard and they deserve the medals they won. they are pawns in all of this. HOWEVER, China should be disciplined for CHEATING and being UNFAIR.

If they're underage, they DON'T deserve the medals. If all other countries had competitors that were underage, then okay. It's really hard for me to believe that any of the Chinese gymnasts are a day over 14, though. They look like little girls, not teenagers. That's not proof, but the fact that in the past few years they have listed their birthdates as later than what they do now, is. And I don't believe the Chinese government is above putting untrue information on a passport.

All the judges are corrupt, in the boxing/judo etc they do their best to make sure the Chinese contestants go through.

You see..the reason why people are mad because children have more flexibilty and are able to do more complicated routines. They make hands down better gymnast. Also children are shorter so they have less problems with making clearance on the bars. The reason why the age restriction is in place is because to protect small children from such pysical demands.

Only an idiot watches the Olympics.

Well here's another case with Aaron Cook in Taekwondo:

Fighting in the under-80kg category, Cook actually came closer to gold than he did to bronze, losing his semi-final 6-5 to Mauro Sarmiento, of Italy. He finished that one in tears – though he was thoroughly composed compared to the emotional Sarmiento – but two hours later he had gathered his thoughts and cooked up a plan with coach Nelson Miller for the fight of his life against China's Zhu Guo.

That turned into three rounds of extraordinary action which left both men spent. Cook, who looked as if he had matured by years since the previous fight, kept thinking he had scored, while the Chinaman picked up points on the counter-attack.

The Briton went down 4-1, looking quizzically at his coach throughout the contest. "I've never tried so hard," he said afterwards. "It still wasn't enough – I just didn't know what else to do.

"The crowd didn't affect me, but it must have affected the scoring. I'm so gutted."

Miller was also at a loss to explain why Cook's efforts had found no favour with the judges. At least three of the officials stationed around the playing arena must register the score for it to count. "I will just go home and train harder," Cook vowed.

I'm sure there are many many more.

It's just funny how these controversial results only seem to be occuring against Chinese athletes.

But it wasn't Miaoke who was singing. Chen Qigang, the ceremony's music director, told state broadcaster Beijing Radio that the voice heard around the world belonged to 7-year-old Yang Peiyi.

Peiyi had the voice and was supposed to perform, but was yanked at the last minute because her looks were deemed not suitable by a senior Communist Party official, Chen said.

"It was for the national interest," Chen told Beijing Radio. "The child on camera should be flawless in image, internal feelings and expression."

Have you ever noticed that the Olympics usually come down to final duals between the USA and the sponsoring country?

I wonder if this year's games were held in say, Germany, would the final gymnasts be between Germany and the USA?

Oh, yeah, China cheated. You bet. No way those girls are 16 or older.

I've often wondered why their boobs are not developed or developing and if their menstrual cycles been artifically stopped or have they even started. Many hard-core female athletes do not have periods.

China is making a "Science" of olympic sports and
starts training it's competitors shortly after birth.
At the basis of it's science is Genetics and physical
characteristics. For every genius that is born here, 8 are
born there. They must have some smart shit going on if they
can convince us to give THEM ALL the smart shit we've
developed in 200 years, + the means to make it.
