Human Evolution.
Does anyone else agree that we as a species have not really evolved over the past few decades?
Sure we have advanced technologically but like an irresponsible drug addict we have abused our technology and instead of using it to better ourselves (evolution) we are using it to destroy ourselves.

I think it would be true to say that the next step in human evolution will be in a spiritual sense. As in, it doesnt matter how far we go with our technology. If we dont align our spiritual evolution with our technological evolution our technoligy will destroy us eventually.

Right now we are like animals. I dont mean to discriminate against animals when i say this because they are perfect in the sense that they are all they can be at this present moment.
We however are not living up to our potential. Like a car that is stuck in first gear we have been functioning with only 15%(citation needed) of our brains. So obviously we have much more potential then we are aware of.

Dont we need to evolve spiritually and mentally before we can go any further? The test of time has proven countless times that a civilisation cannot survive when it turns its back on its spirituality, its devine essance.

Re: Human Evolution.
DNA loses information every time a cell splits. Over many generations, how is this loss of information beneficial? How is it that DNA breaking down (increase of entropy) leads to it becoming more complex over time?

This reminds me of the 100 monkeys story. There were 100 monkeys on a certain island that learned how to do a certain trick. I cant remember the specifics of it but you'll get the general idea.
Well anyways, once one monkey figured this out it spread like wildfire too the rest of the monkeys on the island and they were all doing it.
Now what was very strange about this was when all the monkey started doing this 'new thing', the monkeys in an island a mile or two away started doing it as well! And the two islands had absolutely no connection and were seperated by the sea.

This would point to an even higher form of concious memory. A memory that is stored in energy rather than biological matter.

Interesting point.
Read - for thy sustainer is the most bountiful one, who has taught the use of the pen, taught man what he did not know!
Nay verily man becomes grossly overweening, whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: for behold unto thy sustainer all must return.

Quran 96:3-8
