He's been gone for a couple of years now hasn't he?

His last post was about him hearing from one of his friends in the armed forces and getting a warning to "bug out". So he did. Heavily armed too, according to his slightly encoded message ("play dough" and "pineapples").

He got us all wound up with a series of breathless posts the night he left. He was packing up the truck, the wife, the dogs, with a bunch of camping equipment and supplies, digging up hidden weapons from the garden, and heading out to meet up with some buddies of his that had planned this for years, to get together and survive at a prearranged signal. He said a friend he had served with had telephoned him and said all hell was going to break loose . . .
