you glp people are real, so i wanna ask u a question about the housing market
the people on here are real, so I want to ask my question
to the great folks on here.

i wanna make an offer on a house, what are my chances?

the house is in northern california, it has been on the
market since December 2007, its bank owned, it first
went on the market for $120,000.00

the asking price has gone down to $59,000.00

do u think i should make a cash offer on it for
$30,000.00? what are my chances the bank will
say yes? how low do u think i should go?
should i even bother, if doom is right around the
corner?

Re: you glp people are real, so i wanna ask u a question about the housing market
if you live your life in fear of what will happen and what if, you will miss so many life experiences and learning experiences. i think you should ask yourself, if i died tomorrow would i look back and wish i had taken more risks?
my advice is go for it, so what if doom is around the corner. what will that do to you. follow your heart. if it is saying buy then buy. i wish i could find a house for thirty thousand. i live in texas and the house market is still going strong. good luck and blessings

what if they say no ????

you can then offer $40k

go for it

if you like the house and location, you've had it checked by RELIABLE inspectors, and you can drop the 30k without putting yourself behind the 8 ball....jump on it, the worst that happens is they say "we want more than that"...and if they bite, you get the place for what a house should actually sell for, as opposed to the speculators dream price...
