Just because you gave up your career does not mean that Sarah Palin has to give up hers
-Good point, but it doesn't mean we have to vote for her either. The person who gave up her career isn't the only one of us women who CAN'T HAVE IT ALL. Stay at home mom, or not, any mom could have her teenage daughter turn-up-pregnant, we get that, and I for one apprieciate Palin's choices when it comes to going-through with her pregnancy, and publicly supporting her daughter when the alternative is that the two most currently famous babies could have been (Babygate!), aborted and everyone could have been spared the embarassment. BUT----would I want MY teenage daughter thinking that she could HAVE IT ALL? No. Because you CAN'T, no one can and that's just how it is. Its unfair to have people PRETENDING like we can.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75362Well some people can have it all. As I taught my child aim for the moon and you will catch a star. I brought up a beautiful child, ran two companies, did a tremendous amount of charity work and never looked back. People can have a good career and children. Quality time with children is better then no quality time. And I was a single mum. I had it all and there is no reason why other mums can't have it all if they wish. Lotus
