I'm not going to get into the argument as to who is evil and who is not...the fact is that US has had paid mercenaries in the area since 2004!

"The Cheney group estimated that if the US could get a major pipeling flowin west from the Caspian Sea - away from Moscows control - daily exports from the Caspian to world markets could go as high as 2.6 million barrels per day by 2005."

The companies involved: Amoco, Unocal, Eccon, Pennzoil...they have invested billion of dollars in Azerbaijan.

The United States is right on the border of Russia and Iran establishing military bases using hired mercenaries. Are they not supposed to feel threatened? Considering that Blackwater has within their employee several hundred soldiers from the Pinochet regime!

You better wake up people and start doing some research into what our government is doing without our approval and behind our backs.
