Even though Berners' slight paranoia about cults is a lol,
he has a point.
I think the internet does need editing, pulling out the valuable bits, but without restricting the flow of chatter and info by labels of trustworthiness.
That would potentially impinge on free speech, something much loved by glps.
The internet is a new medium still, and what it means to write for the internet is still in its infancy,
trying to contain it has not worked yet.
