And for all you right to lifers, here's a scenario for you :

A drunk driver heading north to Wasilla slams into a car heading south to Anchorage. It's the wee hours of the morning. In the car is a young family --
a kid or two, pregnant mom, and dad. They are taking dad to the airport in Anchorage. The kids are killed. Mom survives but barely and her fetus dies.
Dad is handicapped for life.

Why is the drunk driver on the road ? Oh because the bars in Anchorage close at 2am but they're open in Wasilla until 5am and so at 2:30 am they are halfway to Wasilla !

Why the 5am closing ? Because one of Sarah Palin's first acts as Mayor was to fire the chief of police who wanted to change the bar closing time to 2am to prevent the exact sort of scenario described above.

Why was Sarah in favor of keeping the closing time at 5am ?
Because she had received the princely sum of $1250 dollars from the barowners as a campaign contribution. Read all about it in the new Newsweek
(the one with lipstick on the cover that says "what do women want" ?)

If this woman is so right to life why didn't she support the earlier bar closing time, in a logical effort to save some lives ?

You pro-life trolls really need to cast the beam out of your own eyes before going after the motes in other's eyes. I had an abortion after getting pregnant with an iud. I miscarried twins. I have two grown children. Women's reproductive lives are complex, and simplistic solutions won't work.

If men were more careful where they deposited their sperm, the abortion question would quietly resolve itself. Oh but we can't even look at that half of the equation, can we ?

Her whole big fish in little pond career has been selfish and self serving...including making her poor daughters life right by forcing her to marry a jock who wrote he didnt want kids...why cant she just raise her child alone or adopt it out??
McCain has has been in Washingto 27 years and did NOTHING to stop any of the madness presently destroying the USA. Was he in a coma???? He did nothing at all. He wasnt even pro life. So now all of a sudden just to get votes, hes going to "do something".

I'm voting for Ron Paul (as a write in if I have to) because i do vote pro life, but I dont trust either her or McCain. He was at the bottem of his class of 800 and crashed 5 us planes because he didnt study how to fly them in class, so it makes sense he'd think she was qualified.

I know people who think Palin could be the anti Christ since she is such a liar (satans main title) and would be the opposite.

They HAD to lend money to people who could not pay back.....Ever heard of a pyramid? ever heard of a ponzi scheme? Capitalism is essentially a ponzi scheme, just as corporations must search for ever cheaper pools of factory labour, they most also find ever larger numbers of borrowers. (Thats also why credit cards were developed.)

Unfortunately they ran out of borrowers and were forced to extend credit to those they knew could not pay back. You see the rate of human population growth is far too low to satisfy the profit needs of world wide capitalism.
