Is America Insolvent? Gold level in vaults...

America allegedly is the largest holder of gold bullion in the world. My sources at Bloomberg indicate current holdings are 261 million ounces.

261 ounces of gold doesn't TOUCH the level of indebtedness of this country...think of it like this, if every man, woman, and child in our country were given an equal portion of the USA's gold reserve, we'd each get about 3/4's of an ounce or about $600.00.
