People stand on the pulpit and boast about how much money they tithe, how many people they employ. They look down their noses at anyone who does'nt have an expensive suit, they shun anyone who is poor. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 509449You have been to a Babylonian church, that put on a christian name tag. Jesus talked about them in Revelation 3 : 14 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. |

It's like walking into a fashion show in some of the churches. Our Lord I know prefers to see a weeping and repenting church of just a few, knowing they have come short. |

If these Bastards Knew The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit they would have KNOWLEDGE of how God manifests HIS Will through those who ARE HIS Servants. Yet, here is one more self-confessed proof that neither scribe, nor his phoney-baloney schizo buddy in Cyprus know anything about God. Can't "keep the commandments" before you've surrendered. Baptism is an outward sign of the change that God worked within you, and is done for witness to others. Repentance is part of the surrender process. You don't repent continually once you have been Born-Again. Acknowledge Christ Jesus, Admit your sins, your sorrow for them, your desire to sin no more, Claim your share of God's Infinite Mercy and Grace, Give your life Unto The Father, Ask HIM to send The Holy Spirit to you. That is how you become Born-Again, and as Ezekiel 36:27 Witnessess: "And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." Neither phoney-elijah nore his buddy the scribe, understands the Ezekiel Witness because they have no experience of what God Witnesses there. Neither one is Born-Again. To think that God's Witnesses of Revelation would need to "monitor the news". The Holy Spirit is all the news Elijah requires. Elijah will be manifested with Moses onto that street in Jerusalem very soon. His service to God will not involve convincing you of his origin or merit. When a Born-Again does/carries out God's Will, he/she does not need or seek your approval or understanding for their actions. In Matthew 13, Jesus explains it all, (regarding who has Knowledge of God and HIS Will) to the Apostles: 11. "...Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15. For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them." Most Christians would/do desire to hear and see (Know) the things (Mysteries of Heaven) that are Given unto those who Abide In-HIM (Born-Agains). Yet, they are not willing to give up self, to surrender their lives Unto The Father. Thus it is with these guys. Deluded and lost in-self, not Knowing HIM. |

I was just reading this last ight, Romans 10:11 "anyone who trusts in Him will not be disgraced". So ya,......... if you believe in Jesus you will love Him, and we all try to please who we love. So we "obey". But in simplest terms- Jesus really took care of all penalties of doom we humans had incured - we simply turn to Jesus and say "I will beieve" -- thats a good deal If you have a free few minutes, read Romans 10 in the bible. It is interesting..... |
