yeah, the current pattern is dollar down = stocks up and vice versa.

and IF the USD tanks that means that sterling and euro rally.

shorting at the bottom is not going to work.

Note also that the March 2008 low at 71.00 was never retested soon afterwords. It is therefore likely to to taken out this year or next.....and is not the low of this Bear Market.

What was your population that you tested??? In that late 90's, most of the population of the U.S. were talking like experts about their tech stocks, 401k's, etc.. You knew therefore that a top was near. Then everyone was bullish on housing. Again....a crash could be forecast from this. But the dollar. AT least 95% of the general population has no idea what is going on with the dollar.....and they are not personally involved or invested in it. Likewise, you do not have huge numbers talking about their gold investments at work, family gatherings, etc....... and how they are dumping dollars. Very few people in the general population are invested in hard assets. The fate of the dollar is controlled by bankers and a few top level investors worldwide.....the masses are not involved with this. You might get some short term reactions like the 2008 pathetic up year for the dollar....but this is only temporary.

Currently 76.75........need a monthly close above 92.00 to confirm a major long term trend reversal. Short term traders however could make a few bucks now and then going long on corrections. However, "the trend is your friend." The RSI is a very good short term indicator.

Of Goldman sacs controls the NYSE data, what makes people think that dollar streams can't be controlled too..

Its like watching the NFL, you know the game is fixed but you watch anyway and hope your team wins.

I am feeling the need to add another short tonight.

only thing i will bank on is technical analysis...

and TRADER would agree the USD can breakout anytime and go up...

infact its looking pretty positive from here.
