History of Evolution
A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE HISTORY OF EVOLUTION
by Gerardus D. Bouw, Ph.D.

It will come as a surprise to many to learn that evolution is not a modern idea, spawned by the pressure of scientific evidence. Evolution’s roots go back several millennia; back to ancient Babylon and Sumer.

The word “evolution” means “unfolding.” When applied to the creation of the universe it tacitly supposes that God, at best, had a more-or-less passive role in the history of the creation. By “God” I mean, of course, the God of the Bible.

The ancients had other gods which they held accountable for the creation. The earliest surviving extra-Biblical account of the creation came to us from the ancient Babylonians. The Babylonian creation accounts are typified by that found in the Epic of Gilgamesh. From said epic we learn that the Babylonians believed the universe to have had a chaotic beginning.

Some centuries later, under Alexander the Great, the Greeks inherited the Babylonian culture, complete with its mythology. In the Greek writings we find a strong reinforcement of the superstition of evolution: that the world as we now know it was not created in its present form and that the life it bears evolved into its present forms through tens of millennia. To the Greeks the creator of the universe was the god, Chaos. The most prominent Greek advocates of evolution were Thales, Anaximenes, Aristotle and Lucretius.

Although the Greek myths of the creation were interpolated from the Babylonian before 200 B.C., we can still find the same myth in modern “science.” Today, “scientists” no longer share quite the same animistic theological bent as held by the ancient Greeks and so it is that modern “science” does not claim that the god, Chaos, created the universe. So as not to smack of the supernatural, “science” instead drops the title “god” and writes the “god’s” name with a lower-case letter. Hence modern “science” claims that the cosmos came into being, by chance (or chaos) and that it had a chaotic beginning (that is, it exploded into existence). Though other terminology may be used today, the idea is still basically the same as that held by the ancient Greeks; the only difference being that the modern version of cosmogony avoids using the words “god” and “creator”.

The speculation that the universe had a chaotic origin is not the only place where modern “science” partakes of the fables of the ancients. Circa A.D. 50 Hinduism was born with its belief in the life cycles of reincarnation. The Hindus extrapolated the reincarnation theme to the very universe itself. To them the universe was reborn only to die, only to be reborn, only to die, and so on and so on. Today we find the same whim alive and well in modern “science” here some variations of the “Big-Bang” have the universe exploding into existence and then collapsing back onto itself only to blaze forth again in another “Big-Bang” only to die again only to be reborn and so on and so on. Lest the reader think it merely a coincidence, we submit that the original model for the “oscillating Big-Bang” (also called the “gnaB-giB”) had a “reincarnation” life-cycle of about 50 billion years. This “happens” to be the same cycle time held by the Hindus. Furthermore, at the time that the “gnaB-giB” model was proposed, the universe was held to be about 7 billion years old -- the same age the Hindus hold for this present reincarnation. (Actually, the Hindus claim to know that age to the exact year.)

But the Hindu model of the universe was not the first reincarnation model. Before them a hierarchical cult, called the “Cabalists” for their reverence of a mystical book called the Cabala, had advocated that the universe would undergo seven “reincarnation” cycles of seven thousand years each. Each seven-thousand year cycle would have its seventh millennium as that of the Lord’s rest. It is from the Caballists that we have received the “Gap theory” of creation -- the belief that a pre-existent world is referred to in Genesis 1:1 and that said world was destroyed and that the creation account starting at Genesis 1:2 is actually a re-creation and does not at all describe the creation.

Re: History of Evolution
Interesting.

Thank you for posting.

I am currently doing some reading on Nimrod.

Isn't it interesting that those who celebrate Christmas, Easter, etc. are in actuality celebrating Nimrod and his mother, from whom allot of this idea of mythology and gods originated from.

Re: History of Evolution
Nimrod was the great great grandson of Noah and founded the city of Babylon.

In modern society I find Christmas and Easter to be paying homage to the Roman Catholic system rather than any Christianity. And that's how it starts.

Yes, I know much about Nimrod, and am studied in the book of Genesis.

Seems you are too.

You bring up a good point in that the Catholic Church adopted many of the mystic aspects of Babylon.

Were you already aware that Nimrod's supposed "resurrection" was celebrated by chopping down a tree and placing gifts underneath? (Along with orgies and other things)

Were you already aware that the people celebrated his mother birthing Nimrod by painting eggs as well?

Just asking, as this topic seems to interest you.

Re: History of Evolution
It is odd how those religious practices carried over into conquering kingdoms. There is a spiritual reason for it, being a satanic system built into what is now kabala and sun worship given to the magi who made contact with fallen angels for this knowledge/mind control device, a replacement religion to God's original plan for us all. They need this false religious system including evolution to control the world. Without the deception God's Word would shine through as truth.

All foretold in the Saviour's prophecies which give characteristics through symbology, identifying the Roman Empire as being Babylonian.

I must agree with you on your synopsis. Well put.

And regarding specifically your article. I thought of something…

As you have pointed out this has been going on since the beginning and we are seeing it on a large scale presently.

Further, it has been going on long before terms such as Evolution, and Uniformitarianism were coined.

As you are well aware Uniformitarianism is becoming dominant as man continues to exclude God on an even more frantic level these days.

The Uniformitarianism mind set is that all things have and will continue as normal. They vehemently DENY the flood of Noah or other such "ridiculous" myths.

But, I was reminded of the following scripture due to inspiration from your article:

Peter nailed Uniformitarianism many years ago:

First he says:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.

Then right after this says:

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Man he nailed it!

This scripture plainly addresses and states that…...No, all things have not just "continued", and or "evolved" and further, there is and will be an end point.

But the Evolutionist and those with the Uniformitarianism mindset will dismiss this as sillyness and foolishness.

ONE of the most delicious paradoxes in the history of education is the fact that the Society of Jesus, a Catholic Reformation order founded by Ignatius of Loyola in the 16th century, was the greatest single publicity machine for the literature of pagan antiquity from the late Renaissance until the French Revolution.

The ethos of the Society of Jesus was an apostolic one: its members were called less to contemplate than to preach, to harvest souls, to exert influence in the world. The order attracted active types - missionaries, musicians, mathematicians, artists, architects, scientists and poets -- and all Jesuits were required to do a stint of teaching in the society's free humanist schools.

The Jesuits are rightly acclaimed as the educators of early modern Catholic Europe. Among their brilliant alumni were Rene Descartes and Voltaire. While their curriculum and pedagogical methods were based on Renaissance models, the Society of Jesus translated traditional elements into a spectacularly successful formula of their own, forging an international educational empire that stretched from Rome to Russia, Mexico to Macau.

Pagan Evolution ©

Pagans of the Isis bloodline didn't have a "theory" of evolution. They accepted it as a self-evident fact that humans had risen from lower primates.

Evolution was a fundamental precept of Pagan religion. The underlying purpose of the Pagan religion of the Isis bloodline and genealogy was to elevate humankind to a higher order of life. Paganism began from a period of enlightenment. There was a "Golden Age." Over the course of time, they lost sight of their origins and their original purpose. Dark ages returned.

Greatest sentence ever posted on GLP.

Still not perfect, though. You need to work in something about 9-11 and free energy for it to be complete.

Re: History of Evolution
It's interesting that Fred Hoyle, the astonomer who coined the term "big bang", held the concept in high disdain because it smacked of a God-created universe. He was quite anti-religious.

And yet scientists (astronomers and astrophysicists) have come to the conclusion that all the galaxies in the universe are moving away from each other, indicating that they had a single starting point far in the past.

So a scientist (Hoyle) who was convinced the universe had no single pount of origin because of its implications for a God-created universe was proven incorrect by another scientist (Hubble), who showed that it was highly probable the universe did indeed have a single point of origin.

It just goes to prove the science and religiion are both clueless when it comes to knowing who their true friends are.

Hoyle himself proved that the nucleosynthesis process that occurs in the cores of stars is responsible for the evolution of matter from helium to heavier elements.

All there is in the universe is matter and consciousness and both evolve.
