I saw a video on Youtube with her message from yesterday, and she really seems to believe it herself, which is for me a mixture of sadness for her delusion, and fear that whatever she is channeling isn't as friendly as they say. Its hard not to remain skeptical in the light of the hype surrounding October 14th, and with so many false prophets and con artists out there trying to make a quick buck by exploiting people's hopes and fears its no wonder so many people are taking this with a grain of salt.

I, too, am in great doubt that the message BG has been preaching is truth. Its playing on the insta-doom scenario, so you know a lot of people will jump on the bandwagon because hey, its only a couple weeks away (now only days away.) However, I am inclined to give her some benefit of the doubt and I'll entertain her predication briefly.

First, lets take a look at the current crisis that has befallen our global economy. We are in truly unprecedented times as the entire global economy is about to derail. We're seeing the shrinking away of America's dominance as the sole superpower following the fall of the Soviet Union. Once again, we see Russia rising up along with other Asian nations such as China and India. We're on the brink of a historical election where, for the first time, we may see someone of a minority elected to President.

So, I'm sure many can agree that we're heading in a direction of change. Now, lets entertain the possibility that the theories surrounding 2012 are indeed correct. That would put us at slightly over 4 years before the suspected date. Now, I would think that extending up to the date in 2012 we would undergo a massive shift in normalcy, whether we look at that in terms of a shift in consciousness or the unfolding of an entirely new international political paradigm.

Hence, while the prediction itself that BG has given might sound ludicrous, its not a far cry to think that perhaps we are on the verge of being shown that life indeed exists elsewhere in the universe. I, for one, have never once doubted that life permeates the universe. With that in mind, I wholeheartedly agree with the position that a lot of people are taking on GLP regarding the October 14th predication. When I first read it I was a bit excited, but as I gave it more thought I realized the futility of basing my hopes and dreams on the musings of some woman who, by chance, also happens to be an actress and an author.

However, I do encourage people to remain open-minded and hopeful in the off chance that she is right and the realization that such an event would dramatically alter the course of history for the human race.

BG has achieved a new level of discourse. she understands what love is better than most other channelers. she talks about it openly and she seems to be a shiny happy old lady. i have studied love and the nature of reality for 8 years. if she is a liar, i'll be very surprised to know that "evil" people can have this type of knowledge in their hands. it seems something impossible to me, because if evil people can achieve this level of deception toward other people, then we may be fucked forever in hell and there is no hope anywhere whatsoever. better start revolting right now.

You jumped into every Oct. 14th thread saying that someone is making money off this. I have received all this information for free and your clear intent to disrail this information is becoming obvious. What are you soo afraid of? Perhaps the cha ching you hear is for every paid post of negativity and disinfo that you, yourself is spreading.
