He said he woke up one night because he felt his wife struggling...

He turned the lamp on, and she was pinned to the bed with handprints on her face, but there were no visible hands.

One night I was driving home from my sisters
house, only a couple miles. My children were
in the car. I took a right turn and a car
also turned and fell in behind me. All of
a sudden I felt incredible danger from that
car. The kids felt it, too and fell silent.
(Four boys aren't silent much) I tried to
ration it away but it was knawing at me and
I sped up and hung a quick left and the car
went straight. I came around the corner to
back to my route and the car was coming right
at me. When it came along side my car, time
seemed to slow down. Everything went in slow
motion. The car and the occupants were a
parody of my children and I. It was a mother
and children but not human looking. Way odd.
When the car passed, it was like a spell had
broken and I high tailed it home. WE ran into
the house and the car drove slowly by. We
were completely freaked and don't know to this
day what the hell that was.

Several years ago my girlfriend called out to me from another room in our house. I ran in and there was a literal whirlwind of energy of evil feeling energy wrapping around her, just like a tornado and it was somewhat physically visible, but more so it was visceral... I could actually feel it like an evil wind. I grabbed her and dispelled it with my WILL but it was one of the freakiest things I ever experienced.

Whoa.

You said it was somewhat invisible...more like opaque? I mean, could you see anything around her?

This is my favorite ghost story. It was told as a true story.

An attorney and his family purchased an old ante-bellum house in the old south, the kind with the white pillars and all. They were told it was haunted but laughed it off.

Then one day, they saw a little girl at the upstairs railing. She was wearing a big pouffy dress with all the crinolines and carrying a rag doll. As she looked down through the railing, the doll fell from her arms. She reached for it and fell through the railing. She dissappeared before she hit the floor, all in total silence.

The family were understandably shaken, but finally learned that she only appeared one day a year, presumably on the anniversary of her death. As the years passed, they kind of liked the idea of their "own" ghost.

One day, many years later, it was prom night and the whole family was rushing, caught up in the events, when the young lady's date appeared at the family room door white and shaking. He told them angrily that they needed to be more careful of their toddler as she could have been injured.

Needless to say, the family did not HAVE a toddler. They questioned the young man on what had happened, and got this story...the child appeared as normal, dropped her doll as normal, fell through the railing...and the athletic young man stepped forward and caught her...

The girl, still silent, wiggled as if impatient to get down,
was placed on her feet, bent and picked up the doll, gave the young man a perfect little curtsey, and walked away into the darkened diningroom. She was never seen again.

I have more stories! My whole life has been
paranormal.


Let's see:

One morning my husband woke up horny and
wanting some morning loving so as I slept
he brought me awake by touching me intimately.
It was really kind of sweet.
Several weeks later I am again asleep and
start to come awake to the very same
sensations. I kind of go with it awhile
before opening my eyes and turning to
my husband. Except he is sound asleep
turned the other way.

Oooh damn that's some scary shit cuz. I will share some shit I have overcome, and am comfortable with sharing.

One time, my ex-husband and I went out into the woods to get frisky...and we wandered deep into the woods behind my mother's house. I'm talking thick, deep southern woods. Suddenly, we stopped hearing birds chirping, when previously they were singing everywhere.

It was broad daylight in the middle of summer, so there were jays, cardinals, sparrows, blackbirds...all types of birds out singing. Suddenly, there was only silence. My ex'es watch stopped at 2:54 pm. It was so weird...he was trying to get his compass to work on his watch so we could head south, because we nixed the whoopie idea due to us both catching the heebie jeebies and having the hair on the back of our necks raised when we saw this lone sparrow on a slender tree still as halted time, staring at us with dark eyes. Never saw nothing like it.

We looked at one another, and then looked down, and saw we were standing in a circle, like someone had killed all the grass and moss in that one perfectly circular patch, maybe the circumference of a medium kiddy pool. Compass still not working.

We are scrambling to get out of this strangeness, heading back towards where we came, so we were hoping. Now, the highway would have been east or west, NOT straight, and certainly not straight ahead in such a thick point in the woods, but suddenly we caught this surreal glimpse of a highway with a semi rolling down the road blowing it's horn through the trees, but the farther we walked in that direction, we only saw this supposed "highway" fade into oblivion. No other vehicles passed, and we walked and walked...yet never approached the highway that seemed no more than 500 meters away based on the motion and placement of the semi. So we keep walking, and walking. Finally, we make it out on the other side of my mom's house about 2 hours later...when it only took us 20 minutes to get lost back there. Totally weird!! I don't know if we hit a warp zone or what.

My mom tells a pretty good one

One night, she was sitting in the kitchen at her place. Her hubby was in the bedroom and she started to hear all sorts of commotion coming from in there. Things breaking, being thrown, etc. She thought he was having some sort of rage fit, which he was prone to. She goes into the bedroom to see whats wrong and he starts yelling "You bitch! Don't you ever do that to me again!" My mom is like huh? wtf? He responds "The plunger! You f'in threw it at me!" To this day she swears that she knows for a fact that it was in the bathroom, which was around two corners and down a hallway from their bedroom. Her opinion is that it was her grandmothers spirit trying to protect her. She has a number of other not-so-spooky stories which do lend some credence to the claim.

Also, I used ot live in a house where people would regularly (including myself) hear footsteps and slamming doors on the second floor when noone else was home and a number of people saw a floating face outside of the 2nd floor bathroom window (again, including myself). Very creepy shit.

ok...here goes...

I have witnessed a few weird things in my life, but probably one that stands out the most is one night my ex and I were watching tv at the house, and I was looking down the hallway while a commercial was on. I saw (I wasn't even close to being sleepy, or drinking or anything)what I thought was our daughter come out of her bedroom and go into ours. I told my ex to go get her and put her back in her room. He went right away in there and there was no one there. The room was cold as shit, he called me to come in there and when I tried to go in the room, something like stopped me from going in. Not a strong force, but enough to not be able to enter. It was if I was frozen at that spot. We immendiately went to her bedrom(which was about 5 steps from ours), and there she was sleeping. I know what I saw, and I wasn't seeing things.

Another apt. that I lived in, the stereo in my oldest daughter's bedroom would come on full blast in the middle of the night, and the only way she could get it to stop was by pulling the plug from the wall. This happened on more than one occasion. Also, in that apt. her and I were home and she was in the living room and I was in the kitchen coking dinner, and we both heard the shower in the bathroom come on full force...I used to feel alot of cold chills when I was in the bathroom getting ready for work and also see alot of things out of the corner of my eyes in that bathroom. I think maybe someone died in that apt. My daughter also posts here(BriZz) and she can confirm all of this...there is so much more we could tell you...

Local Legend

There was a woman back in the day that was married to a guy who had to go off to war. He died in that war and about a year later she became pregnant, she was harrassed by the townspeople mercilessly. After she had her baby, when she would walk into town, they would call her names and throw things at her. After awhile of this, she could take no more so she drowned her infant in the creek next to her house. When the townspeople discovered the child they went to her house to arrest her and she had hanged herself. As legend goes, if you go to the bridge next to her house and say "Mamalou, got your baby" three times she will appear.

Well, my friend Ashley went into the house with a few friends and a ouchi board (unsure of spelling) and started asking questions of her and the pointer flew against the wall and they ran out. She was telling some other friends of this and they didn't believe her so the 5 of them drove down to see the house. They started yelling "Mamalou, got your baby" over and over. Ashley stayed in the car and got scared about the way they kept yelling it. Anyway, they got tired of it and got back in the car and were making fun of Ashley. When they started the car and turned on the headlights, she was standing in front of the car. They all screamed and drove through her and as they passed the house they all saw her looking out from the top story window (the baby's room). Creepy things happened there all the time, so much so that someone finally burned it to the ground and all that stands is the chimney. Apparently, creepy things still happen there though.

I took a "Haunted Pub" tour in Savannah, GA (VERY SPOOKY TOWN) and they had lots of stories about ghosts pushing bottles and mugs off of counters into the heads of bartenders.

Our house was built for the bride of the original owner. They lived out their life here and he passed not long before we purchased and moved in.

Unexpectedly doors open and/or close but always gently and some nights we could feel a presence in the master bedroom (we moved to the other bedroom and it seems to have stopped. Steps across the upstairs floor when we are down is not uncommon. Its never threatening just unnerving.

I am an American Indian. And many people in my tribe talk about the skinwalkers.
These stories go back as far as anyone can remember.
These are creatures which can change their forms into anything.
But what they like to do most..is to imitate humans..in order to trick unsuspecting people.
White men talk about big foot, or black monster dogs, or mothmen. When we Indians have known for centuries that these things are simply the..skinwalkers.

My grandfather spoke of a time when he lived up in the mountains. They owned a small farm back then which was very
rural and deep near the woods.
He and my grandmother would sit out on the porch of their home each evening after dinner to watch the sunset until it was dark.
Their dogs would scout around the house and near the woods, as they enjoyed their evening outside.
One night as they sat there, the dogs grew anxious and began to growl, making low gutteral sounds.
My grandfather was used to the country life, and was well prepared for any wild animal that might wander up to the house. He kept his rifle by his side.
He called out to the dogs to come to his side. But he said they would not stop growling. One of the dogs even broke out into a long, deep howl, as if it was afraid.
He called the dogs again, and still they would not come to him. And then he notice the dogs backing up, though still growling, as they moved closer to the safety of the house. My grandfather instinctively realized that something was venturing closer to the farm house. So he readied his rifle just in case. And then he heard it. He said it sounded like a high pitch shriek coming from the edge of the woods. He said in all his 65 years, he knew of no animal that could make such a sound. It was not animal and it was not human.
He, my grandmother and his dogs rushed into the house and locked the doors and windows behind them. They turned off the lights in the house and watched outside the window.
And they saw it. The skinwalker. It stood at least ten feet in height with outstretched wings. My grandfather said even in the dark, he could see it's large glowing eyes. They burned red.
This thing flew towards the house and repeatedly banged on the door several times, attempting to get in. The dogs inside the house were now whimpering with fear. My grandfather raised his gun ready to shoot at the skinwalker right through the window. When it suddenly turned around, folding its wings under itself. Then changing its appearance, it fell to the ground on all fours and ran off into the woods.

It was somewhat VISIBLE, but transparent yet there was a distortion of light, sort of like the shimmering of a mirage makes the background visuals shift and wobble. I'll never forget it, gives me the creeps to this day.

I was asked by a friend to spiritually clear a
known drug users house. The only reason I agreed
is because there was a baby living there and
the spirits were bothering her at night. She
was terrified to sleep in her room and her
mom could hear noises on the baby moniter.So
I started in the basement and then first floor.
It seemed to be going smoothly. Then I got to
the babys room on the second floor. There was
a crib alright but all semblence to a childs
room ended there. There was a table with pills
and razor blades, etc. Obviously where they
did there shit. To top it off, I looked in a
small dresser and found dirty magazines. I
could feel a tower of negative energy over
the table and into the ceiling. I was lived
with anger. It's hard to write about, I am
shaking now. I had to literally close a
doorway and risk my own soul. I was able
to do it. ( With angelic assistance!)
When I was done, I yelled at the mother
and the aunt to clean up the babys room,
now! By the time I left, it was cleaned
out and her baby things were FINALLY neatly
put away. That night, she slept like the
baby she was.
