WILL YOU CLIMB THE SPIRITUAL LADDER?

Imagine you are in a forest. You dont know how you got there. You just know its a forest. You see trees, and more trees, high trees. No horizon visible.
You could be in a forest on an island, or in a forest on a muntain, or by a city. But you dont know because you cant get above the tall trees to see where you are, and more importantly you cant find your way out, because the trees are thick and you cant see a path or know in which direction to go. You are trapped, bewildered and going round in circles.

You are getting used to the idea of being trapped. You think this could be all there is. Maybe the forest is the whole world. Maybe there is nothing outside the forest. You start thinking maybe its pointless to look, to search. You r in a prison while denying it.

And then one day you come across a ladder. It reaches up high into the tree tops, above the forest. You gaze at it in wonder. How did it get there?. Its steep and the climb looks challenging. Why bother ? you might think. Lets just stay trapped. Its ok in the forest. But then you start thinking But what if there is another whole world out there?

But you will never know till you take the climb.

Its a spiritual ladder. Every step your climbing away from all that makes the ego feel safe. its not easy. You might even get afraid of the height you are reaching. But untill you do, untill we do, we will never understand who we really are ,where we really are, what lies beyond and how to get there.

What will you do?
