Progressive tax schemes such as was done to the USA in 1913, was and is a major plank of the Communist Manifesto. Google is your friend. History classes apparently aren't what they used to be. Our Dept. of Education(also part of the Communist Manifesto) has been busy dumbing down our population, and re-writing our history books over the years(and others as well). It's so sad how dumb our population has become. Redistribution of wealth is a Communist philosophy which destroys human incentive to work harder, doesn't work, depresses people, creates sloth, corruption, Gulags, evil pogroms, tremendous waste and failed harvests ala USSR.... leading eventually to collapse. During the next President's term, just 2 years from now, the Estate Tax Law which has given relief to middle class and farmer families re: this onorous double taxation scheme, will be ending. A new law will be written and passed by a Democratically controlled Congress. The President is the only force that can protect us from this evil tax which in the past wiped out more small farms than any other factor. Ninety percent Estate taxes have existed and most likely will reappear to "REDISTRIBUTE" your parents Estate(and yours'), leaving you with nothing after attorneys fees etc. have picked the bones clean!!!

First of all, businesses will product as much product or service as necessary to keep up with demand. And if it costs that business more to do such business, they will raise the costs of the product or service they are providing. PERIOD.

You really think nobody would have a job in the USA if we went back to a 70% tax rate for the wealthiest of the wealthy? My dear, to hear you, you'd assume that a 70% tax rate for the super-elite must have resulted in completely unemployment throughout the nation, right? Yet, we know this is not true. Even with a whopping 70% taxation rate, the rich still employed the poor. Why? Because the rich need the poor to work for them. That's how they profit.
