Money doesn't work. People work. People who lie to you and say that they are "letting their money work for them" are really using their fiat money to exploit the actual workers.

The problem with income redistribution is that it discourages small business owners and entrepreneurs from innovation and expansion, increased taxation becomes prohibitive. Also, your data is flawed. The top 5% of income earners in america pay 30% of all personal income taxes collected. That is already disproportionate. It would be better to increase corporate taxes and close evasionary loopholes. Increase the tax base for companies who offshore employees or manufacture overseas........more jobs will bring a better economy for everyone........not transferring wealth.
