100 sq km = 6*6 sq miles -fuck we are all going to die That's about what I got, 300 km2 ~ 100 mi2 Bad news for people on foot, which I think I said in the first post. 100 square kilometers, not miles... following the hot spot near time remote viewer... still large, it impress me... specially if you get that this happened in one day! S. who C.  As for MODIS information and many still unconfirmed reports there was indeed a major eruption on the 3 rd and 4 th of november, 2008.... not 2005 eruption but a new one. I feel we can trust in MODIS system! it´s hard proof by modern technology, so there was an eruption. For the extension, we would see... MODIS information makes for about 100 square kilometers, barely more. For your position toward people on foot, please try to be more human/compassionate! Nevertheless that´s an isolated, desertic area scarcely populated if at all... your comments were not kind toward people and... We don´t need "dooms"... we do need knowledge and wisdom. Impressive natural phenomena indeed. S. who C.
