I think those dot-like things are the time/date line. I'm wondering what will happen as more Arctic ice melts. With no cold there will be no snow/cold fronts. Seems like it takes half the winter for a real serious front to develop now and move way south.

I was ready to bring my tomatoes indoors, but there's no "normal" cold weather in sight here.

And the mustard, turnip, and collards are thriving!!!! So many and so big I'm giving 'em away!!! Been using the turkey fryer to cook 'em outside. Why not, it's been T-shirt weather?

I remarked yesterday how strange the weather and how strange the sky looks at dusk especially.

Last night was a full moon, which was shining through the clouds in the night sky. The sky was inky black towards the horizon, but a strand of luminescent gray through the center because of the cloudiness and the bright moon. And it was WARM and muggy.

I had exercised, and went outside to get a cool breeze - there WASN'T ONE!

Uggggh.

It's been like this for a few days. I don't know how people in Seattle do it. It makes me feel dark and a little angry - like I'm right on the brink of something - maybe waiting for the clouds to open, but a feeling like they're not going to and I'm just HERE in this dark place.
