I have a friend who was arrested and held in prison in Russia for about two years falsely accused of spying. He USED to work for the Pentagon, but when he retired he formed his own company and was selling his plans to Russians for weaponry. He wrote a book about his experiences called "Torpedoed", but it came out right around the 9/11 event and so he never got to go on all the TV stations to promote his book and talk about his horrible experiences. He was released as a matter of "good will" between USA and Russia, but they still suspected him of espionage.
